A beautiful stream

Le Petit Pont
Le Petit Pont

The French Alps are beautiful everywhere. Between the hiking and the exploring by car, it is hard to limit the photography. The weather has prevented plein air painting every day, but the house I am renting has a beautiful sun room with perfect lighting. I took the photo for this painting on the road between St. Pierre de Chartreuse and the museum of the Grande Chatruese. The day was actually drizzly and cloudy, but is managed to get a nice photo. I decided the day needed to be a little nicer in the painting.

Wish we could have some of your rain and you could have some of our sunshine. Lovely painting. Scotti

Beautiful. I will be thinking of you as I head to French group today. You have no right to complain about the weather; I just wish we had some of what your are having. Passes le bon jour a Marie Francoise. Keep following your bliss; you certainly know how to spend your time and talent.

Ahhhhh, enjoy yourself aren't you even in the rain. Nice work!

Enjoyed seeing the French landscape and your lovely art. Thanks for sharing.

The painting is lovely!!! Sorry the weather isn't perfect, but it will change. Another day, the scene will give another. Have fun.

So nice to hear from you, Sandy. I love the painting. Hello to Marie.

Sandy, thanks for sharing your French painting...a lovely softness to it. As artists we can indeed change a rainy day to what we want...it's magic!
Hugs,
Suzi

Salut, Sandra! J'aime beaucoup ton aquarelle -
bon sejour en France, mon amie. J'attends
ta prochaine announce.

Beautiful scene, congrats! Picked up your
painting yesterday. Jan Chandler died in her sleep, sherry thinks last Sunday. I got a Eric
Wiegert book that has thanks to Chuck and Gretchen Swartwart for editing for him in it.
Susie told me they were friends, and sponsored
him to come down here one time at least that
she knows of. Diane is back now.
Rosalyn Kraft told me, she taught French!
Did you know?
Watching Wimbledon, saw our 1st rattler in
3 years by porch today, so he /she is no longer
with us. Keep up the great painting... Sue
